Richard Dolan

was born in Brooklyn, New York, studied at Alfred University and Oxford University, was a finalist for a Rhodes scholarship, and completed his graduate work in history at the University of Rochester. Prior to his interest in UFOs, Dolan studied U.S. Cold War strategy, Soviet history and culture, and international diplomacy.

In 2000, he published UFOs and the National Security State: An Unclassified History, 1941-1973 (republished in 2002 with the subtitle Chronology of a Cover-Up, 1941-1973). This 500-page history provides clear detail on the major UFO cases of the early Cold War era, the attitudes and policies toward UFOs by the military and intelligence community, and the fascinating development of the citizen movements to end UFO secrecy.

In 2009, Richard completed Volume Two of his historical study, subtitled The Cover-Up Exposed, 1973-1991, and is now at work on the final volume of his historical trilogy.

Richard has also published articles and spoken at conferences around the world. Among his main themes are the destruction of our political liberties as a result of the UFO cover-up. He has also speculated on the possible nature of the non-humans themselves and what their presence here means for our civilization. This has led him to take a fresh approach to the topic of “Exopolitics” and to develop unique insights into the practical challenges and opportunities for a true disclosure of the UFO phenomenon.

Richard has done a great deal of television work, having appeared on many documentaries for the History Channel, Sci Fi Channel, BBC, and elsewhere. In 2006 he was host to a six-episode series for the Sci Fi Channel, called SciFi Investigates.

Peter Robbins has been involved in UFO studies for more than twenty years, as a

researcher, investigator, writer, lecturer, activist and author. Budd Hopkins

Budd Hopkins is a world-renowned artist, author, and pioneer UFO abduction researcher. Having investigated well over 700 cases, he now heads the Intruders Foundation, a nonprofit, scientific research and support organization. Taken together, his three books, Missing Time, 1981, Intruders, 1987, and Witnessed, 1996, are widely regarded by researchers and skeptics alike as comprising the most influential series of books yet published on the abduction phenomenon. Kathleen Marden  author of Captured, & Science Was Wrong Both With Stanton Friendman

Kathleen is the niece of Betty and Barney Hill. Kathleen Marden earned her B.A. in Social Work at the University of New Hampshire in 1971. Thereafter, she entered into graduate studies in Education at the University of Cincinnati, and later, U.N.H. She began her professional career as a social worker and eventually entered the field of education as a teacher. Later, she was promoted to a supervisory position, coordinating education programs and supervising education staff. 

She left her job in 1990 to pursue a career as a UFO investigator, researcher and writer. She taught adult education classes on UFO and abduction history, and for 10 years volunteered as the Mutual UFO Network's Director of Field Investigator Training. In 2003, MUFON publicly recognized Kathy for her outstanding contribution of advancing the scientific study of the UFO phenomenon and demonstrating positive leadership.

Kathy is currently a full time writer and lecturer. Several of her articles have been published in the MUFON Journal.  Additionally, she has written papers on the use and misuse of hypnosis in abduction investigations, the ethical use of hypnosis in abduction investigations, the comparative analysis of Betty and Barney Hills' statements made under hypnotic regression versus Betty's dream account of abduction, and a critical analysis of the Harvard false memory study of self reported UFO experiencers. Her 2007 book Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, with coauthor Stanton T. Friedman is a case study of her aunt and uncle, Betty and Barney Hills' 1961 UFO close encounter and abduction. She and Stan are currently working on a new book which will be released in June 2010.

She was thirteen on September 20, 1961, when her aunt Betty Hill phoned her nearby home to report that, the previous evening, she and Barney had encountered a flying saucer in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.  A primary witness to the evidence of the UFO encounter and the aftermath, Kathy has intimate knowledge of the Hill’s biographical histories, personalities, and the never before published historical data pertaining to their sensational story. She recorded hours of taped interviews with Betty and the two made several research trips along the close encounter route through New Hampshire’s White Mountains.  Additionally, Kathy transcribed the audio tapes of the hypnosis sessions Betty and Barney participated in with renowned psychiatrist Dr. Benjamin Simon and conducted a comparative analysis of the Hills’ individual testimony versus Betty’s infamous dream material.  Kathy believes that there is conclusive evidence that the Hills were abducted.  This new information, along with the Hills’ historical records and scientific reports, became the foundation for her recently published book Captured!  The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, coauthored with scientific ufologist/ nuclear physicist Stanton T. Friedman.

     Kathy's lecture will include excerpts from the Hills’ historic audio taped hypnosis sessions with Dr. Benjamin Simon.  Her personal and intimate knowledge of Betty’s and Barney’s personalities makes them come alive before her audience.  She is the only person in possession of and with the legal right to present the Hills’ recordings.  As such, conference attendees would find her material truly unique and exciting.  Additionally, if you desire a joint lecture by the authors, Stan and Kathy offer a combined PowerPoint presentation where Stan examines the scientific evidence and Kathy presents factual information to prove that the Hills experience was real. 

     Kathleen was trained as a social worker and educator and holds a B.A. degree from the University of New Hampshire. WILLIAM J. BIRNES

William J. Birnes, the publisher of UFO Magazine, can be seen in the weekly series, UFO Hunters on History. Each week, he and his team of researchers travel to the sites of world-famous UFO events where they use high-tech equipment and cutting-edge investigative techniques to explore the encounter and arrive at answers about what really happened.

Birnes is well-qualified to lead such a team, having written and edited over 25 books and encyclopedias in the fields of human behavior, true crime, current affairs, history, psychology, business, computing, and the paranormal. He is the co-author of The Day After Roswell, which was a New York Times bestseller in 1997, and subsequently a documentary on The History Channel. Birnes is a frequent radio and television talk-show guest, having appeared on "Good Morning America," "Dateline, NBC," "Entertainment Tonight," "Coast to Coast AM," "UFOs in Russia," "USOs, Underwater Submersible Objects," and "Black Box UFOs."

Stan Gordon, The Kecksburg UFO Incident: 45 Years Later.  On December 9, 1965 an event occurred about 40 miles from Pittsburgh in a rural area of western Pennsylvania, that even now remains controversial for some, and mysterious to others.

Leslie Kean is an investigative journalist and Director of Investigations for The Coalition for Freedom of Information.

Jennifer W. Stein Crop Circles

Jennifer Stein lives in Radnor, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has a Bachelor of Science in textiles from University of Arizona.  Jennifer pursues her passion for knowledge in many areas including, archeology, phenomenon experience, including UFO's crop circles, & ESP as well as the science of consciousness. This open mindedness lead her to study of the English Crop Circles in 2000 with Rubin Urdiarte, California state MUFON director, and  an crop circle researcher. During this trip Jennifer was allowed to film crop circle research with Nancy Talbot, Bert Jenson, Linda Moulton Howe, Dianne Hughes, Freddy Silva, and others. Jennifer has continued this study by traveling to Canadian formations and attending the ICCRA conferences in Ohio with Jeff & Delsy Wilson as well as returning to England for many years.
